JEFF BEZOS WILL OWN YOUR HOME

IS THIS A GREEDY MOVE BY BEZOS?

Jeff Bezos, alongside other notable investors like Marc Benioff and Spencer Rascoff, has invested in Arrived Homes, a Seattle-based startup aiming to democratize real estate investing. Founded by Ryan Frazier, Kenny Cason, and Alejandro Chouza, Arrived Homes offers a platform that enables individuals to invest in rental properties with as little as $100. This innovative approach allows people to buy fractional shares in rental homes, making the wealth-building potential of owning rental and vacation properties more accessible.

Arrived Homes manages all aspects of the real estate operations, from acquiring high-quality properties in desirable neighborhoods to handling maintenance and finding tenants, allowing investors to earn passive income and a share of the property's appreciation with minimal effort. The company has attracted significant attention and funding, with over $135 million in company funding and more than 366 properties funded, reflecting its successful model in making real estate investment more accessible to a broader audience.

The platform's approach to real estate investment is designed to lower the barriers for those who have traditionally been unable to invest due to high initial costs or operational complexities. By leveraging data-driven decision-making and collaborating with local market experts, Arrived maximizes returns for its investors, offering both regular rentals for consistent passive income and vacation rentals for higher income opportunities across 27 different real estate markets.

Arrived Homes has rapidly grown its investor base, with over 500,000 investors taking advantage of its easy investment process. The company's success and innovative model have not only attracted significant investment from figures like Bezos but have also positioned it as a leader in the democratization of real estate investing.

The Draw Back

Like other mega corporations, Arrived will prohibit many people from buying homes. By buying up all the available homes on the market it’s going to make it impossible for regular folks to be able to afford a home adding to the already housing shortage not to mention the higher prices this will create. Bezos might believe this move is helping people but it really is hurting them.
